HT update 1.11.19
Another week has flown by at our school and with the nights are drawing in and the weather turning.
We look forward to welcoming parents in to school next week for parent consultations, as ever we encourage the children to attend so they can be part of the conversation around their learning.
Sharing the learning
This week Miss McGhee and P2/3 were sharing their learning in literacy on Thursday morning with a variety of activities allowing the children to show off their work!
Our children began using our new class set of laptops this week for various projects, we are so lucky that the generosity of our school community has allowed us to invest in a wonderful resource for the kids.
STEM family drop in session
Mrs Dixon, our STEM teacher, invites you to a Family STEM drop-in session next Wednesday 6 November from 3.30 – 5pm in the STEM Hub, starting just before the Wednesday parent consultations. There will be a variety of STEM activities to try out, such as construction challenges and Science experiments. Please ensure all children are accompanied by an adult.
A reminder that we ask all children to have indoor shoes for school. This is especially important in the winter months as we want to keep our newly refurbished school tidy and clean.
Have a lovely weekend,
