Friday Note

21 September 2018

We hope that everyone had a great September holiday!  Back in school this week, P4/5 and P5 have been letting loose their talent and celebrating the arts through the Ratho Fringe Festival.  They have embodied the school vision of creativity and performed in a range of different art forms.  We have also enjoyed recently the P6 assembly on Digital Safety where important messages were communicated with fantastic use of ICT skills.  Next week, we are looking forward to finding out about what the p7s got up to at camp in their assembly next week.  Most classes have now had the opportunity to work on their rugby skills with Fergus Scott and have enjoyed learning a variety of different games with him.  Next week is the start of the eagerly anticipated Vision Time clubs.  All the clubs are linked to the school vision of “A Curious, Creative Community” and include singing and dancing, percussion gardening, baking and lots more!  Thank you to everyone who has already volunteered.  If you would like to be involved, please contact Mr Welander.  The clubs will run on Wednesday 26th from 1.30-2.15pm.  We know that this will be the start of something which will help Ratho Primary to continue to grow.
